WEEK's RECAP... (LOL! I hope this does not lead to a HABITUAL form)

Saturday

Went to Guam Bar...got home earlier this time. Brought the cost estimates for the bar and the hotel renovation and presented them to Yamamoto..who knows whether he'll like it or not. Point, is.. as wot BW says..we need to "WORK" Yamamoto from all angles... *scary*

Sunday

It was Manang's birthday. Went to Chinatown, brought them there to eat lunch. Then the weirdest thing of all things I can ever think of going I just went this day--THE MANILA ZOO.

I know..I know. Pathetic as that sounded. It didn't when I got to be around a different assotment of REAL ANIMALS (those i'm around at work or my clients are domesticated animals) after a while.

I liked seeing them..don't know why. I really am a frustrated veterinarian at heart. Another illegal thing I did (as useless) was to feed the creatures when no one was looking.. I made a mad grab at the ornamental plants that I think are edible and not the foxglove and poinsettia varieties (poisonous saps they possess) and fed them to the ostriches, the deers, the ape, the zebra, the peacock (well i gave the peacocks bread..) They ate them instantly...must be because they tasted "new" to them.

After that I went home and told Manang to go shopping or something as it was her birthday--gave her an added birthday gift for her to use as shopping resource. :)

Left alone at the house, I got an unexpected visit. It's from an installment of the Twin Brothers--Hekyl and Jekyl. Hekyl came by and rummaged through my ancient books (actually more like Dad's collection of ancient chinese prophecies). He was particularly interested of a prophecy book that foretold life for a certain individual based on one's time of birth and date.. From those data gathered, the book will spin your entire lifetime and tell you wot's gonna happen when you're in your midlife and wot happens after that. It likewise gives you a very accurate picture of wot kind of a person are you. Most of the things he said bout me I already heard from someone who prophesied me years ago..but it's refreshing to be reminded when one's gonna die... LOL!

After that, I slept.. yup...close to 10pm :) *cheers to me*

Monday

Checked on the car..apparently, the dents have all been removed. it was now time to haul it over to be given a whole body repainting job. Hope they don't bungle that up.. *rolleyes*

BW came over around 9pm and finished painting Mom's booth facade project. We snuck out for a quick dinner (it was BW's third or fourth dinner that day, and my first meal of the day) We went to Aristocrat and had a riceless 4-viand course. BW has met a new person over the net waves. Funny thing that new guy, by the sound of their convo, was really, literally, moving-in for the catch (that was BW)... he must've said profuse 143's when they haven't even seen one another..in person that is :p Yeah, Einstein said the world would come to something as closely empathetic as this :D

Tuesday

Today i woke up early. Early because I got early calls from Saudi Arabia. Someone as keen on getting the farmlot I was selling. Sounds promising. The thing that got my attention was that there was another one who called, but this one's from a San Miguel poultry contractor who were looking for a bigger property to transfer. I guess it was FARM-INQUIRY day which is a good way to start the day--preoccupation.

GOT a go-see proposal from BW. It was for Saturday. Not bad, worth a shot right. Not really. Problem is getting models in tow for the go-see. Most of them have unreachable mobiles or are either busy with other projects on Saturday. The mad rush for available talents was the order of the rest of the afternoon for me.

I'm scheduling the setcard photography of the models as the days go by. I'm starting off with Fencer and Fencer's talents. Slept at 2am today. Why 2am? Oh got hooked on brushing up and re-educating myself about my cameras :) I tinkered and cleaned them off the racks. Been like years since I held one in my arms (manual that is)

Wednesday

Today was client day. Off to The Light Company to check on that booth requirement for the Ace Hardware relaunch. Boring discussion. Boring because they were tied to a budget--a budget of seemingly impossible proportions. Impossible because it's so puny one would think whether a cardboard booth would suffice *rolleyes*

After the Light Company, the networking lan guy arrived. Weird emaciated guy didn't look like he can fix anything. More likely, he could've been hellspawn for all i know. So he managed to remove some spywares (temporarily..they were up again after he left...lol) then he managed to revive my linksys hub..which was a useless gesture seeing the purportedly four-pc hub, can still just link the pc's together but not the internet...hmm...this is wot i'm doing hours after he left, repatching and restructuring the network thing he did, maybe i can a way around the maze that Destiny did to lock the system to just ONE pc. I know I can find the hole in the setup somewhere..i'm like this close... *motions point finger and thumb to a measly thickness size gesture* well apparently that close to giving up...lol! Well it's almost 3am and i'm still up...at least the net's working...for one pc that is.. later on if i remind myself, i'll prolly buy 2 20"+ monitors to replace these ones I have. ANother one conked out again, making it to the record of 6 units of 20"-21" monitors that conked themselves out in 3 years...

Oh that reminds me, later i'ma gonna have to shop for some nice piece of hardwood.. BW says they're like easy to procure..i hope i find them within the day.. also to submit the drawing to the Light company and of course to resubmit the cost estimates to Yamashita tomorrow evening.

BTW...i think i'm going to Bora this April. then July. then October. Never been to BORA before, I used to hate the thought of being in BORA seeing how commercial it was, and being one who isn't a fan of hyped-up tourist places, I always chose to pass-up offers from friends before. But this time it's different. I'm going there for a shoot, a file shoot of sorts and a getaway. BW's planning to go too and so goes for 18 other hopeful people who will join the so-called interisland tour. If that goes well, Cebu Pacific will prolly have it's noisiest/boisterous-iest flight in history.
